The Mulakhi Community

The Mulakhi community dwells in the gorge of the Mulakhura River, famous for its multitude of towers. A picturesque road will take you from Mestia to the last village of Mulakhi community - Zhabeshi, with Mount Tetnuldi and Tsaneri Glacier overlooking the whole area.

In the Mulakhi Community, you will hospitality of several family hotels, which represent the local lifestyle.

Jabeshi is the starting point for the "Tviberi" pedestrian route, which takes you to the foot of the Greater Caucasus via Karieli gorge. Zhabeshi village is also a starting point for the 3-day horseback trail "Zhabeshi-Ushguli". This route will take you through two passes (2700-2800m). First, you will arrive at the Ipari Community and visit the most beautiful Adishi village.

After Adishi the route goes to the Kali Community, where you can visit the local cultural sites. After that, the route will take you, via the gorge of the Enguri River to the highest settlement in the Ushguli Community (2200m above sea level) where you can enjoy the openhearted hospitality of the local family hotels.
